IGNITE X

Compact, stylish CNC alloy head with a Cree LED and a highly efficient acrylic reflector lens. The Ignite X is a light that’s strong, rugged, scratch resistant and produces a solid beam of light with no halo effect to distort the beam. Light head and battery are water resistant so the rain and puddles won’t be a problem. It comes with an easy mount silicon O-ring and 2 handlebar pads (straight and angled) to make sure you can direct the beam where you need it.

WHY WE CALL IT THE SCORCHER

This photo is a perfect example as to why we call our flagship cycling light, the Scorcher.

The RavX Scorcher projects an ultra powerful 1800 lumens of light out of a triad of 3 high-power LEDs. The surge of energy is kept under check with a very sophisticated machined aluminum body that acts as a heat-sink and features air channels to further aid in cooling.

One of the neatest features of the Scorcher is that not only does it last a full 3 hours on high beam, but a clever circuit of capacitors in the battery allow the light to maintain a constant level of brightness throughout the battery’s life. So, unlike other lights that start going down in intensity as the battery depletes, the Scorcher is HIGH, HIGH, HIGH, HIGH then OFF. This is awesome because you know that as long as the light is on, you are able to get full power out of it.

Of course, if you are a hulk of a rider that can tackle a century thru the forest with no rest, a single protein bar and 2 ounces of water… you can run the light at low beam and get a full 8 hours or more out of the thing. For most of us it’s high-beam until we burn out!
